This shoe is for single use only. I don't think they hold up as well as DBXs, body gloves or speedo water shoes, they are for traction, are made of a lightweight material and offer some comfort, but if you need water shoes long term you are better off investing a little extra money in them a good quality pair of water shoes as these are quite fragile. I wanted to love them but I don't, and I'd love to just head down to my local sporting goods store to buy a pair that will provide the protection I need to enjoy my time in the water, and honestly after I do checked the prices at my local store. At the sporting goods store I realized I could buy a pair of a more reputable brand for almost the same price.
