This is a clever idea but it will require some work to implement. It works great for powering my fan and coffee maker, and the USB ports are handy. However, I installed it in the booth and the wall was very close to the table and couldn't be moved. The method of attaching the bracket to the pole makes it difficult to install on the desk. It wasn't possible to attach a thumbscrew expander, so I had to use a piece of plastic to keep it from digging into the desktop. My other issue is that the USB ports charge my iPhone but not my iPad. All in all, the Desktop Edge Power Strip isn't bad, it just doesn't give me everything I need.
