My wife's Lenovo laptop went into an unrecoverable sleep mode, as did many others I've noticed online. I took almost everything apart trying to get it back, to the point where I decided to remove the hard drive and restore the information for use on a better laptop. "The hard drive turned out to be an M-series SSD, so I was optimistic when I found this case. Knowing about ESD (you should know ESD on the market) I measured the drive and it seemed to fit the chassis specs (30mm x 50mm (1.1" x 1.9")). The drive fit perfectly in the CCA and I found all the files I was looking for and moved them to a flash drive. Now the case can be used as an external hard drive. The case is well made of steel and protects the electronics both physically and with ESD protection. I am very satisfied with this product.
