I agree with the overwhelming amount of positive feedback from Revain customers on Vacu Vin to which I will add that of the four wine preservers I have tried so far the stainless steel Vacu Vin worked best for me. I've only tried one electric wine cabinet (Brookstone's automatic wine cabinet) which broke after a few uses and never worked properly in that short time. Like the other two manual wine cabinets I've used, the Vacu Vin is an air induction pump that when you place it on the neck of the bottle and pull the handle, it removes air from the bottle, thus extending the shelf life of the wine in it. Compared to the other two I've used, the Vacu Vin takes a lot less force to evacuate air and has a much better connection between the pump and the rubber stopper. In addition, one click tells you when the optimal vacuum level has been reached and when to stop pumping air. The Vacu Vin also comes with two plastic spouts that allow you to pour without spilling a drop, but I don't use these because they feel so sharp you risk cutting yourself trying to put them in the fit bottle. They are also not very easy to insert, making them more dangerous. Maybe deduct half a star for that.
