I needed a second laptop with a good battery. I tried Chrome OS with this device which has good design principles although you need to protect your data. This computer's screen is large, which is useful, but you have to move the screen to see anything, and sunlight is a problem. I switched from a Mac a few years ago and got lost in the MS OS craze and Lenovo won't charge anymore. This machine costs as much as a Lenovo fix. Chrome OS is very basic, but you can't trust its security. So disconnect your computer from the internet and this laptop is fine. (I still don't get it, even when typing slowly, the cursor jumps to the middle of a word or the paragraph disappears)
