Review on ๐Ÿš˜ High-Quality Replacement Fog Light for DODGE/Jeep: TYC 19-5769-90 - Driver/Passenger Side Compatible by Niranjan Reynolds

Like OEM but should be better.

Pros: Fits exactly like OEM, has a good beam pattern and looks good except as noted below. Cons: Vertical adjustment does not work as supplied. If you look closely at the picture you will see that the adjustment screw goes back to the bracket and goes through the white square plastic nut. The nut is held in place by two black "fingers" that are part of the bracket that attaches to the bumper. The "fingers" are not connected at the top. Therefore, when you turn the adjusting screw, the torque on the nut spreads the "fingersโ€ and the nut turns, resulting in no adjustment. I thought the first one I received was defective but the replacement did the same. I solved the problem by lubricating the threads of the screw with silicone and wrapping the "crook" from the bread wrap around the front of the "fingers" above the screw and then around the back under the screw. This provided enough tension to hold the nut against torque from the set screw. I understand that the "twisted" will rust soon, but I don't anticipate having to adjust the light again. Maybe you could use a small cable tie. TYC should have changed the shape of the bracket to connect the two "fingers" at the top, solving the problem.
