With 0 reviews and a lower price than the competition, I was hesitant to order this kitchen helper stool. I've wanted one for years but the price has always been a little steep for my wallet. Well I'm so glad I took the risk! It arrived very carefully packed in styrofoam in a sturdy cardboard box. Each part has been boxed and neatly stored inside, along with the necessary fasteners (and 2 extra screws in a separate packet). The directions were very brief but easy to follow. Each batten and brace had a space carefully cut out of each end board so they fit securely together like a jigsaw puzzle. Everything turned out beautifully and it only took me a few minutes to complete the build. The finish is a beautiful bright white. It's lightweight but feels extremely strong thanks to the rails set into the endplate. The platform is easily height adjustable, but there is an option (screws and pre-drilled holes) to fix the height of the platform if you prefer. The overall height is just perfect, just above the edge of the cabinet and sink. Thank you for this beautiful, high-quality kitchen helper! (NOT an approved or paid review, I just got lucky!)
