This is a great coffee maker with two coffee brewing options (1 is the ability to brew beans or ground coffee in a 12 cup carafe) . and 2 - Brewing a single K-Cup with 3 options (8oz, 10oz or 12oz brews). Overall the machine is great and works great. CONS: (I had to learn hard) Both water tanks dumped excess water from the back of the machine. Because the machine is tall, it will be difficult to access the top of a standard cabinet unless you are taller than 6 feet. You have to pull the entire unit forward to fill in the water and beans. Another issue, also due to the height, is the water tank on the side of the K mug (right side of the machine) which is difficult to see when filling with water. It is recommended to make it transparent or add a window to the tank on the left side so you don't overflow and the water doesn't run out behind the machine. , requires daily cleaning as the steam in the coffee maker creates condensation inside, causing the ground coffee to stick to the inside of the burr, burr lid and chamber. There are other minor annoyances to consider, but since this machine makes great coffee and I've had a lot of experience with Cuisinart products, I kept the machine despite the inconveniences.
