Fat bean stain on

After returning 4 coffee makers (various brands and models) we settled on this one. Does everything we need. One feature I would like is water metering from a removable tank. But other than that, everything is fine, and the oily beans feature seems to be the solution to an issue that others have struggled with.

  • Quality construction

  • Hard to tell

Disappointments and Cons

After using Cuisinart for 12 years for grinding and brewing, I thought it would be a good idea to upgrade and get a unit with a built in K-cup coffee maker. What a disappointment. This morning was the first brew. the fresh earth was not strong enough and too hot. I switched to a K cup brewer and after about the first 8 ounces of brewing he stopped. although there is more water. Only to overflow the running fields and the remaining 4 ounces of water everywhere. The cup was completely empty. I…

Good but could be better

I like the coffee maker but can't give it a 5. It's hard to find a product with the right features. I love grinding fresh beans or using the K-cup side when in a hurry. Cons - Very large so you have to pull forward to access the top to load. Since you can only grind and cook what you need, you have to take it out to the store every day. Need a tank for water and beans. The side of the K mug, the water tank, should be clean so you know when you're running out of water. A lot of condensation…

Butt pain to clean and use

The cleaning process for this is too much. I also don't like how difficult it is to turn the heating pad on after the auto-off time limit has been reached. I had another brand with a grain hopper and it was MUCH easier to work with and easier to clean. This pot requires you to measure the beans for each use and is overpriced in my opinion. I love that it makes a delicious cup of coffee and that it has a second chamber for making individual cups with pods, but that's not a feature that adds much

Great coffee maker but could be better for the price

This is a great coffee maker with two coffee brewing options (1 is the ability to brew beans or ground coffee in a 12 cup carafe) . and 2 - Brewing a single K-Cup with 3 options (8oz, 10oz or 12oz brews). Overall the machine is great and works great. CONS: (I had to learn hard) Both water tanks dumped excess water from the back of the machine. Because the machine is tall, it will be difficult to access the top of a standard cabinet unless you are taller than 6 feet. You have to pull the entire…

I wanted to LOVE this car. Not me!

I bought it for two reasons. 1) It has a built in grinder 2) It has a large carafe and can use K-Cups. Pros: I like the built in coffee grinder. I hated grinding beans and then putting them in a basket and making coffee. Call me lazy but I love skipping steps. The grinding function works great! The 12 cup carafe is basically what you would expect, a large glass carafe that is dishwasher safe. Programmability is also a plus! Cons: Two water tanks. The one for the decanter has a transparent…

Just a small problem

Looked through more than 100 coffee machines and reviews. I replaced a famous branded mug maker k (our 3rd in 6 years and each was of slightly poorer quality). But the man wanted to have a cup of coffee now and then. Of all the coffee makers we've had in the past, the Cuisinart was the only one that never broke. I only dumped them because I got tired of cleaning them multiple times a day and decided to go the kcup route. Of course, my unicorn master would make a pot, portion, hot water, grind…
