After using Cuisinart for 12 years for grinding and brewing, I thought it would be a good idea to upgrade and get a unit with a built in K-cup coffee maker. What a disappointment. This morning was the first brew. the fresh earth was not strong enough and too hot. I switched to a K cup brewer and after about the first 8 ounces of brewing he stopped. although there is more water. Only to overflow the running fields and the remaining 4 ounces of water everywhere. The cup was completely empty. I tried the second cup k. Same problem. The third time I made two holes in the bottom of the pod, thinking maybe it was just cooking too fast to keep up. the same result. Back in the box, it's time to look for another option.
