The cleaning process for this is too much. I also don't like how difficult it is to turn the heating pad on after the auto-off time limit has been reached. I had another brand with a grain hopper and it was MUCH easier to work with and easier to clean. This pot requires you to measure the beans for each use and is overpriced in my opinion. I love that it makes a delicious cup of coffee and that it has a second chamber for making individual cups with pods, but that's not a feature that adds much value. The water tank is narrow and it's easy to drip water onto its side along with the beans... making it even dirtier. It's also tall and my wife has to stand on a stool to add water, that's all. I am not happy with the purchase and went for something much better for less money. I recommend finding a grind and brew type that automatically grinds the appropriate amount of beans and lets you select the grind level (okay, of course). Loading the grain into the hopper will be a lot easier than measuring each pot.
