I'm a veteran professional writer/photographer in Alaska looking to jazz up his gear on some trips. It's just an amazingly good little camera with amazing sharpness, stabilization, autofocus, processor and burst speed. Next to a full Nikon 70-200 f/2.8 shooting the same subject, it's difficult or impossible to tell the difference. Easy to use and of sufficient quality for its primary use for me - magazine shots, full page or smaller. It runs on batteries, but it's easy to have a few spares. The best compact camera I've ever used and very comfortable with its gigantic zoom range.
