This vent will get the job done. It fits 1998 Toyota Tacoma Base Truck, the central position of the dashboard is just right. This is a great option for replacing air vents. I've looked in all stores, on ebay etc and found nothing at all. Installation is a little tricky though - just apply a little oil or petroleum jelly around the vent while you get it in place. Don't try to place the left 1st place like many videos say. It just stays that way. Put some lube on it instead, just press it into place evenly and slowly. It's REALLY tight. But I installed mine. Looks great, works great!
