I don't know what happened to the quality of this brush but I'm very sad. It has always been my favorite toilet brush, maybe for over 35 years? The last thing that lasted forever for me. I bought it on March 30, 2021 and today (October 8, 2021) when I was cleaning the toilet, the whole head just came off and floated in the water. I don't keep it wet in a plastic holder. I let it air dry. It was obvious that the wire holding the yarn together had snapped. The thread itself still looked like new, but what good is new thread if the metal wire frays and breaks so easily? I think like everything else that used to be made over centuries, this beautiful brush is now made from inferior materials. Now after so many years I have to look for another brush because I think this is the best on the market. Totally sad and disappointed with the new quality.
