I used this for my tattoo. Put it on thick an hour before and saran wrapped it until time for the tattoo. Washed it off and it definitely helped with the pain. Lasted about an hour and then I used the spray every hour thru the rest of the tattoo. The combination worked well and I highly recommend the spray if you're getting a tattoo. I don't think I could've gotten through the 4 hour tattoo without the cream and spray!
