
I was hoping to find an easier and cleaner way to strain almond milk and it worked great. I use a 2 liter beaker to hold the bottom of the strainer above the milk that collects at the bottom. Unlike squeezing a bag of nuts, the flesh remains fluffy and easily dries into almond flour. One cup of soaked and washed almonds ground with 3.5 cups of water in Vitamix yields about 3 cups of nut milk and 1/2 cup of dried pulp meal. The exposure time is less than 5 minutes and the screen is easy to clean by shaking with soapy water and rinsing well. I am pleased to recommend this product for making nut milk.
