Stuck in buckle

I was happy with how it held my large dog in the back seat but now it is stuck in my seat belt buckle. I lost access to the third seat belt. This is a problem as I take a few children home from the practice. I'll have to take it to a jeep dealer to see if they can remove it and if not I'll have to buy and install a new buckle. I will then be returning this item as it is not compatible with my 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
