I really can't say enough good things about this load carrier. I have driven it 900 miles in my Ford Escape and have had no problems with it. The material is extremely durable. Straps are strong. For me it was almost completely filled and it didn't move at all. There were times when the wind blew against the straps, but I just turned on the music and solved that "problem". I haven't experienced bad weather (snow or rain) so I can't confirm that, but I think it will be ok in bad weather. I love how easy it was to put it in my bag for next use. I am very happy with this purchase!
