Smaller than expected
An inch is generous but my cat, my daughter's cat and a few cat friends don't seem to mind. Very light compared to other balls so durability is questionable. My cat can lose them under furniture and other places all day and she still has backups. I also gave my niece a few (several hundred) for her childhood entertainment!
