Decent for the price, no major issues, but it's more annoying than critical.

This is HDMI and USB 3 KVM and it works most of the time. One of the great things about it is that it's USB powered, so you can run it without using another power adapter plugged into an outlet. If you have an always-on PC, NAS, etc., you can use it for power. I use an extension cord with USB connectors, it works fine. Press the button and it switches to This Computer, so you can connect 4 devices to an HDMI display and a set of USB devices, up to 4 USB devices actually - or a lot more if you connect a USB hub to one of these 4 connect USBs ports. They work great: Dell Windows WorkstationDell Linux DesktopRaspberry Pi 4Chromebook (everything I've tried a lot)Microsoft Surface TabletsRoku Streaming StickChromecastGoogle TV with Chromecast What doesn't work:Acer Desktop - just gets confused when it shuts down and throws an error, which states that This display (this KVM) does not have a native resolution and the display then becomes unresponsive. I have no idea why one PC is having problems and the other isn't. I suspect the problem is with this particular Acer and not this KVM, but thought I'd mention it anyway. Another issue I've encountered occasionally involves Microsoft Surface tablets (Pro7 and Go2). They usually work fine, but a few times when I selected them on this KVM, the icons and windows got swapped. This happens when the display is set to a lower resolution than the resolution you are using. So when you switch to other devices, KVM sets the wrong resolution for the virtual HDMI device that stays connected to Surface computers. this. I'm running at 1440p, but when I go back to surface computers (sometimes, not always) the windows resize as if the display had dropped to 1080p. It's not cool and very annoying at work. So the virtual device connected to this KVM is not great, but it mostly works. It's a budget KVM, so if you have those little hiccups, if you can't stand them, you can invest in a better one. But overall not bad.

  • KVM switches
Cons
