This is the best small animal bottle I have ever tried for two reasons. First, and this is IMPORTANT, your pet can actually drink from it! Others I've tried are either "tight" and leak or barely leak. It is neither one nor the other! It doesn't spill, but if you run your finger over the tip/ball you can easily feel the water spill out. Plus it's smaller than some of the water bottles we prefer for our little hamster. We empty and fill it up every few days, maybe only half. The hole is small but you can still clean it out with a bottle brush and take a paper towel and kind of roll it up and stick it in there to dry it out and wipe away any slime that forms where the water is. long time. Overall we are very satisfied and trust each other, we have used several different types of bottles!
