This is the second one I've bought. I bought my first one from a Verizon store a few years ago and somehow the part that was supposed to fit your phone snugly (the adjustable part) got stuck and I couldn't get it to squeeze it tighter to fit mine to hold phone. My son tried to take it apart to fix it but it didn't work. So I ordered another one, I hope this one will last longer. But I took a lot with me on my first one. I love that it's adjustable and has an open bezel so I can plug my phone into an outlet and the cord isn't in the way. The biggest downside for people might be that you have to put a big silver ball somewhere in the car and it gets VERY stuck. If I tug on mine it looks like I might shatter the dash before the bullet comes loose. I'm pretty sure if I want to take it off I'll have to use some kind of chemical (mucus) to loosen it. In the meantime I had a silver bullet stuck to my dashboard. I was able to find a place above the center console cup holder to attach it to, but you need to make sure you really think about where you are going to place it in your car because you are committed once you attach it.
