I wanted to get into the world of dehydration on the cheap so I chose this one. I use it almost every day now and I love it. It works great, it's so easy to program, it's quiet and I love that you can see the food drying out. It's a smaller unit so I find the drying time longer than recommended, but since I use it all night I don't mind. I've since bought a more commercial food dehydrator but will still use it for small batches or very large ones once my big one fills up. I recommend this for those who are thinking about going for dehydration. Too easy to use and the results are amazing. (You should make pears. We eat them all and should keep making more) If this device is one of the last to go for, don't hesitate. You will not be disappointed.
