I bought this cable for my Lenovo ThinkPad T520. I used a VGA cable to view on an ASUS monitor but wanted something better for Revain Instant and Netflix streaming. This cable was the perfect solution. Using a DisplayPort to DVI cable I can now view the image in full 1080p HD. Video streaming looks great on Revain, Netflix, and YouTube. As a graphic designer, I also use the Adobe Design Suite (mainly Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop). The quality improvement is very noticeable and useful when working on complex projects. For those interested in gaming, I used this cable for Civilization 5 and League of Legends. Display quality was excellent and lag was imperceptible. The overall build quality of this cable is solid. I've been using this cable for a few months now and haven't had any problems with shorts or any signs of cheap build materials. If you use your computer for gaming, streaming or designing, I highly recommend this cable!
