Review on Polarized Prescription Sunglasses: Ultimate Eye Protection by Daniel Reeder

Not the improvement I was hoping for

In August 2018 I bought a Success Eyewear set of G15 sunglasses (day use) and Fit Over sunglasses for night use respectively. They were comfortable to wear. However, I did find that the wide temples on these frames caused me to turn my head more while riding etc. In the summer of 2019, when I noticed that several sellers including Success Eyewear glasses were selling a similar G15 Fit Over design with a transparent design, I ordered the "Side Viewing Window" in hopes of a better fit over -Glasses. I was disappointed. Each "side view window" in the frame contained gray clear plastic that already had several scratches on the plastic, and that plastic was not polarized. The main lenses on the front were polarized. Polarized, but the decay seems different than my 2018 batch. These 2019 frames (which should have been the same or similar size as my 2018 order) felt cheaper and less comfortable around the ears. They also fit my nose a little differently and I've felt more friction against my skin than when I bought it in 2018. All in all, the new "Side-View" glasses seemed like a good idea, but a bad one/ cheap execution.

Pros
  • Excellent overall
Cons
  • Doubtful
