Bought these for our small panel pc systems as they have USB 3.0 but the port positions are difficult to reach once the system is assembled. It has 4 ports and even Micro B for power delivery if you have power hungry accessories or have had to extend the USB too often. We mainly use them for keyboard and mouse extensions, but I've also used them for a USB stick and haven't noticed any degradation in data transfer when connected to a hub compared to connecting directly to a Panel PC. They are very inexpensive and do the job we need pretty well.
