Review on Revive & Renew: Solution Finish Grey Plastic & Vinyl Restorer for Ultimate Car and Truck Detailing - 12 oz. by Jeff Gopala

As someone who used the black trim solution, I had high hopes of ordering gray for the Jeep Liberty. My buddy said to only use black, but I like working on a lot of cars so I have the right consumables. Well, I should have heard that "gray" is more like white color. So after preparing the surface I applied "grey" and now my finish is a much lighter gray than when I started. Glad I tried it myself on a piece because you can imagine that trying to get white color from gray plastic is not easy. The only way to keep the piece is to clean it as best you can and use a black finish restorer to darken it. A black restorer on a gray finish isn't too bad so my mate suggested I just use black. We did an avalanche with black and it turned out great. But it's a gray finish and I noticed that most people in the reviews used a gray restorer on an avalanche gray finish, which is why I got it. I think what happened to my bottle was they forgot the color. It seems all air conditioners never die. I was tempted to mix some black into the gray bottle to get the result but the hole is too small and I shouldn't have to for such an expensive product. And it's made in the USA, what a shame. It's funny how people want to be made in the US, but only at China prices. It was made in the USA and sold at American prices, so no excuses. I'll try to return but I've used a few so we'll see how it goes.
