Product worked great. I tried not to get the remote wet, but when water gets on it the remote looks more than capable of handling splashes. The switch can float on water (I'm not going to test this specifically for myself) as seen in the picture, but I was most interested in whether it works and whether it's practical. In short, the remote control is easy to use, waterproof and easy to set up. With Direct TV, the automatic search worked the fastest for me. The remote connected in about 1-2 minutes. For the TV, the remote control was already connected with default settings. So yes! I will recommend it. Finally, I'm not sure if the Revain Fire TV Stick is compatible, but the remote has a Revain button, so I can't say no. It may be compatible but I can only think that the coding needs to be done manually. I haven't had time to do this or try auto-discovery yet, but hopefully someone with a little more time will clear this up and explain the best way to connect to a Fire TV Stick if possible.
