I bought a DCQ 5000 for $95. I saw it a bit cheaper online but my LFS gave me such a good discount on my tank that I didn't want to haggle. we all have to eat lol. this thing is amazing and dead quiet. I highly recommend it. I've tried the ripple part but haven't been able to use it yet as I need to adjust the drain which is easy. It was getting late and I didn't want to leave it like that overnight. I run it at 75% which is only 23 watts. I will buy another one for my other tank as it is so quiet. It gives the tank great flow and is worth the money
