Bose psychoacoustics at its finest. It seems that such a tiny box sounds so awesome. But everything is relative. And the comparison says that the bass from the "large acoustics" will be heard even when you go around the corner or into the next room. SoundLink micro in this case will sound exactly like a tiny speaker in the next room, but loud. And subjectively, it seemed to me that there was not enough middle in the sound (well, or maybe something else, but definitely not enough). The clatter and bass are more pronounced. Again, the bass component, for my taste, sounds juicier with a slightly older brother SoundLink Mini. I had the opportunity to compare Mini, Micro and Bose Companion 50 on one set of music in real time. Honestly? For a party / picnic, I would choose Mini (bass, volume). For "throw in a backpack", "a story on the steering wheel" and just in a suitcase on a trip - Micro (weight and compactness decide here)
