It is very soft! I've tried shirtless or braless and have neuropathic pain in my arms and back. I ordered the XL because I wanted it to hide some of the weight in my stomach that I had gained trying to quit smoking. It fits perfectly and covers my butt. I'll enjoy this instead of jeggings and the like. Great sweatshirt I just tried on. BUT, big but, I can already say that I will be happy to wear it. It is 35% cotton, 65% polyester.
