These are pretty good lightbulbs, but they start out at low wattage and take 3 to 5 minutes to reach full wattage, which corresponds to the wattage quite well. Light color is good, not very bright, but more than incandescent. The base is full size so it may not fit your candles. I missed this when buying a ceiling fan but have used them elsewhere. Good value for money to save money on electricity bills. 2 weeks after the first check they are all dead, don't buy them. I think maybe I'll try a different brand.
