I bought this case for the wrong reason. My running days are over, but I needed some sort of "belly bag" to hold my passport and credit cards abroad. After doing a lot of research on "belts", "bags" and "bags", I came across this running buddy. All additional items were cheaply made or had zipper issues. This running buddy was perfect. I wore it in Rio de Janeiro for six days and it wasn't even visible under my sagging shirt. It was easily accessible and didn't become a problem in the 90 degree heat. Because it sits slightly off-center in the stomach area, I never found it unsafe. The only downside to using this bag as a safe place to store your valuables is the magnets. The downside isn't in the theme, it's in the way I used it. The bag is designed for joggers and joggers; which are normally in a vertical position. When I sat at tables in a restaurant, the magnets came loose. I've never been afraid of losing my bag because the back half was tucked into my pants. Realigning the pocket magnets became a simple matter. If anything, regular adjustments reminded me the bag was there. It was very easy to forget I was wearing it. I can't say anything about the functionality as a jogging bag; but I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an easy access pocket to store their valuables. (FYI if you're worried about what you might be storing in this bag. I kept my passport, international driver's license, and government license in one compartment of the bag, and my credit cards, hotel door card, and cash in another (Both compartments were protected by a Velcro flap. I could fit my Galaxy S4 in the front compartment, but I'd have to remove some of the other items.)
