Review on HUDEF Pickleball Lightweight Mid Weight Honeycomb Sports & Fitness by Joe Murphy

My husband teaches pickleball at the local adult school and has over 30 racquets so I wrote this review with him. The size and shape of this Hudef paddle is now becoming quite a standard shape. It weighed 7.8 ounces, which is a good average weight that most players will be comfortable with. I have a polymer honeycomb and a graphite face, also a fairly standard combination now. It's not a newer and thicker paddle like the more expensive models from the biggest paddle manufacturers. The handle has a good grip, is fairly comfortable, and has a fairly standard 4-1/4 inch diameter that most will find comfortable. This paddle is not made in the USA, to my knowledge, where the best paddles are made. ...$120 isn't cheap, and you can find comparable American paddles for this price or even lower. If I were to spend that much on a paddle I would definitely try it and play with it for a while before buying. You can find paddles with the same performance and cheaper (4 stars).
