This is the best hands-free mobile phone holder in my opinion. I've bought several different more expensive mounts but the durability just wasn't good enough, after a few months the head of the mount came off or the grip mechanism was damaged so the mount didn't hold the phone. I was a bit skeptical about this item at first because of the clip design, but now that I've actually used it, it's perfect. Ironically, due to its simple design, I don't see any way that this mounting clip could break; I mean, unless of course my car is accidentally damaged by me or a passenger, but other than that I feel like this item will last forever and at such a great price (7.99) you can't go wrong. just to name a few other things that I found very good. The flex arm is actually stiff enough to keep the phone right where I set it in all driving conditions, and the suction part is made of this gel-like material that offers amazing grip. So yes, I definitely recommend this item. that, unlike many car drivers, I don't attach my cell phone to the windshield, but place the suction cup mount concealed, in the middle, right next to the gear lever. This is a tiny area where I can get just enough suction from the mount to keep it in place. So if I can put it in there it will be a breeze on the glass. FINAL NOTE: I know this is a long review but want to make sure this helps anyone trying to use this item. At first I noticed that the clip was pressing on the volume or power buttons, but after a small change in the phone's position, this was rectified. The good thing is that the clips are so strong that even if you have to hold the phone with the two fingers of the clips, the phone still holds the phone well without dropping it.
