I've had this lovely birdhouse for a few months now and the birds seem to love it. I have been very happy with my purchase - so far. Over time, our lovebirds began to burrow into the lining of this small nest, and today one of them got tangled up in the rope that is at the bottom of the carpet - everything is tangled, and its small claws are now swollen. I have no idea if he will lose his little claw - all because this breeder apparently didn't know birds would chew through anything. This is not a safe bird's nest for poultry, avoid at all costs.
