Unless you are a beginner, you hardly need an instruction manual. I've been using my new car for almost two months now and during lockdown this is way more than my 'normal' planned life. I have successfully used several different types of fabric including silk and satin. I didn't use heavy denim, but some layered pieces that are quite thick were easily processed by this machine. The spool is a bit larger than most and I don't like my old Singer metal spools. The ones they give you, BONUS, are a lot more. I love that the LED bar is very easy to understand and read even when I'm wearing my readers. The best that is possible is the large space to move the fabric in the middle. The light is excellent too, allowing you to use it for times when you need strong light and don't want to switch to another desktop to get your loopers. This is a reliable car. Very heavy but I like it as it doesn't move on you when you move quilts and heavy objects.
