valve leaking. O-rings are cut during manufacture and when replaced. Wouldn't recommend it.

Not recommended. I've read that some people have received devices that go through a valve. My DEF funnel leaked right out of the box. I ended up disassembling the valve assembly to see if I could just swap in different o-rings. The original O-rings were sheared off during installation. The surface of the o-rings on the valve assembly to the hopper body is too tight and the o-ring was sheared off during installation. The design of the product is good in theory, but it failed after production. The valve assembly and valve assembly o-ring faces require remachining. It looks like the design hasn't been tested post production as many people have issues with it leaking. I installed new o-rings and they still cut off because they are too tight. Makes the funnel really useless if the purpose of getting that funnel is to try and fill up DEF without making a mess and spreading it all over the place. I had high hopes for this as using a funnel on newer vehicles leads to a mess due to the change in filler neck design. If this product wasn't phased out I would give it 5 stars with no further complaints. I really hope they can figure this out and make a better product.
