Robust, high quality tester with many features

I love all the features and functions of this device. I needed an understanding of ABS and transmission. I used an older Edge CS diesel engine to read my codes but it could only see the P1000. With ML-629 I can see P1000, P0565, P0566, P0567, P0568, P0569, C1175, C1236, B2900, U1900. The only negative comment I can make relates to the supported operating systems used to update the ML-629 software. For example, if I am using Apple Mac OS 10.15.5 Catalina with all updates installed, I need to remove the SD card from the ML-629, use the USB SD card adapter, connect it to the computer, the Maxi Suite program for PC ( v 1.12) which crashes before starting, click the displayed "Ignore” button, immediately start the PC program Maxi Suite, and the second time it works correctly. The Maxi Suite PC recognizes the inserted SD card and allows you to update available data updates. The Mac version of the program does not have a print tool to print out stored fault codes from your vehicle. The Windows version of the program has a print tool. Overall the ML-629 is a high quality tester and includes a detachable OBD cable, a mini USB cable, a nice carrying case, a printed user manual, a printed quick start guide and a removable 8GB SD card to store data get saved. Autel tech support is quick to respond and their community forum doesn't have any decent ML629 threads, but I don't think this has a negative impact on Autel.
