Comfortable material, but a large calf area can be used for ball players.
Socks have a nice design and material when comfortable, however, for people with large calves, like many ball players, they are a bit uncomfortable, making it difficult for them to wear the socks as described. They're not bad, but if a basketball player or soccer player wears these socks and has more calves than usual, it defeats the purpose of the purchase.
