Review on 🍞 Saki 3 LB Large Bread Maker Machine - 12-in-1 Programmable with Nonstick Ceramic Bread Pan, Touch Panel & Keep Warm Mode by Joseph Stone

Good bread, good machine, quiet operation.

I bought this bread maker which I enjoyed using for many years because it started leaking and something inside started making a lot of noise. What impressed me the most about the Saki machine is that it runs quietly and is easy to use. I think the guide that accompanies it could be a bit more informative. If I had never used a bread maker before, it might have been more difficult to understand something that wasn't fully explained. There aren't many yeast bread recipes either, although there are some recipes for yogurt, jam, and sweet bread. You can download the manual, but it's the same as the one in the box. So far I have baked three loaves of bread and everything has turned out very well. I used a dough loop for one that I shaped and baked in my oven and made one of the 3 pound loaves and another 2.5 pound I baked saki. The buns were well mixed and well baked with a nice crust. The pan is more horizontal, like a real bread pan, which I like because it slices much better. I halved the 3 pound loaf and then sliced it because it was quite large. There are two paddles, like Zojirushi. They are relatively flat, so even in baked goods they will make holes in the bread, but not too big. The machine is less heavy than my old one and I appreciate that as I don't keep it on the counter but pick it up and put it away after use. There weren't many reviews about this car, but I still decided to take a chance. Seems like a good choice. The proof is more in how long it takes, and I can't speak to that yet. I will update my review if there are any changes. I hope the pan doesn't leak like my other one, but that seems to be a weak point for these devices. The bread came out easily from the coated pan. I had to do a quick dip to clean the blade spindles, but that seems standard. Otherwise it was easy to clean. I am encouraged by my experience and look forward to using it regularly.

Pros
  • There's something inside
Cons
  • Minor problems
