Review on Amprobe ST 102B Socket Tester GFCI by Dru Labrado

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good choice for electricians

This Amprobe ST-102B outlet tester looks good and hopefully will last. I've had circuit testers fail in normal use in the past. For example, the ground pin is stuck in the socket when the tester is removed from the socket (resulting in the need to use needle nose pliers to remove the pin from the socket), or the ground pin is pushed into the body of the tester, when the tester is plugged into the socket (resulting in the destruction of the tester). For now, with only limited use so far, I'm giving this Amprobe tester a high grade for looking well built.

Pros
  • Easy to set up
Cons
  • Very expensive
