Works as intended best in interior

My alternator side box on my new toy dump truck was not insulated. It was just a light aluminum box with decorative wood inside, just under the main bed, and it was noisy. I removed the generator and started on the Noico Dynamat stuff. I installed it on all metal surfaces and used Noico tape and roller to complete the installation. To add an extra level of moisture, I added a layer of closed-cell foam, unrolled it, and secured it with tape. I think I removed at least 30% of noise and vibration and this product was a lot cheaper than other well known branded products. Will be used again for sure.
