Description of ๐Ÿ”‡ Noico Metal Barrel Roller Tool: Effortless Installation for Automotive Sound Deadening Insulation in Cars & Truck (Audio Dampening & Deadener)

Noico Roller is an essential tool for installation of car sound deadening. Dimensions of roller's wheel: width 1.2 inch = 30 mm, diameter 1.25 inch= 33 mm, handle length 5 inch = 125 mm. The roller's handle is made of wood, the rolling wheel is made of metal. The roller is a must have tool if you want to effectively install your sound deadening without getting back and correcting the spots that you might have missed. The weight of the roller is 0.7 lbs. Noico Roller has a spinning wheel that is made of metal (a part of the roller that actually rolls the material and makes that stick to the surface). Comparing to plastic, wooden and polyurethane rollers, the metal spinning wheel works much more effectively. The Noico Roller has a corrugated profile that contributes to better handling and prevents the barrel from slipping. The roller easily moves across the surface and presses the sound deadening material to the surface of your car. Noico Roller has a short ergonomical handle which makes it effortless in terms of operating. Also, the small size of the roller handle allows to reach even the most remote areas of the car. Noico Roller is a specialized tool that will largely help to correctly install the soundproofing materials . Noico Roller is the best choice for those who love their vehicle and donโ€™t want to waste their time!.

Rubbish - don't buy this scooter

I waited for it for 5 days because of the high ratings - used it for 5 minutes and stopped working. This roller creaked after a minute of use. After 2-3 minutes of use, the roller got stuck and stopped spinning, the roller caught on washers or bearings or something. This is just complete bullshit, don't bother with this video.

Pros
  • nice thing
Cons
  • protection

semi decent; does the job; Not high quality.

The work is done, but not with noticeable ease. The bearing (or whatever "rolls" it) isn't strong. Hell, it wasn't even focused on mine. So when you apply rolling pressure, it grinds (and squeaks). Withstood the installation of Noico noise mats on my SUV but most likely would not have survived a second car before collapsing due to its own poor quality.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Hung up during the initial installation

Roller works and is great value. On my first install the roller froze, the oil got it going again. If you do multiple jobs or large jobs I would recommend a better (more expensive) option with good bearings. It takes some pressure to flatten the mat, so rolling it lightly will make the job easier. I've finished most of my Tacoma (roof) so I'll leave this video for the rest. Mine is made in Russia.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Big and Chunky

Stopped rolling after less than 2 minutes of use

The Noico Roller stopped rolling after about 2 minutes of use. I tried for over 5 minutes to get the roller to work but it got stuck and scratched the sound deadening sheets (about 1/4 through with the first sheet before the first block). It also blocked when I just rotated it with my fingers. I definitely cannot recommend this product. I made a video out of an old pen and a roll of duct tape to complete my project lol.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Not sure

Works as intended best in interior

My alternator side box on my new toy dump truck was not insulated. It was just a light aluminum box with decorative wood inside, just under the main bed, and it was noisy. I removed the generator and started on the Noico Dynamat stuff. I installed it on all metal surfaces and used Noico tape and roller to complete the installation. To add an extra level of moisture, I added a layer of closed-cell foam, unrolled it, and secured it with tape. I think I removed at least 30% of noise and vibrationโ€ฆ

Doesn't outperform Killmat

At first I wrote a great review about this product but as I delved further into the build of the van someone recommended using it for soundproofing. In a hurry I was looking for quick delivery of the quantity I needed. He ended up reluctantly getting Killmat, and heck there was a difference. The thickness of the Killmat is superior to Noico, the quality is also unexpected, and the actual efficiency is better. I'm frustrated ordering this because it's behind all my frames and I can't redo thoseโ€ฆ

Don't install a soundproofing without one of these

I want to give an honest review on this product. I really liked this video. I used it to install a Noico muffler on the front doors of my truck and my wife's 4 door car. What I really liked were the small waves on the steering wheel. In most places it was impossible for me to see the inside of the door and drive on it at the same time. I could see where I was rolling and where I was overshooting based on the wave footprint left by the wheel. I had several very tight spots where not a singleโ€ฆ

A good replacement for the Dynamat roller.

I temporarily lost my dynamite roller so I bought it instead; I decided it was silly to spend nearly $20 on another dynamite (especially knowing I still had it). Turns out I found the dynamite the same day it arrived so I was able to use both and make a comparison. The Dynamate roller is made of high quality rubber material with a bearing inside; The rubber is soft enough to easily follow the contour you apply the sound absorbing material to. Its wooden handle is of good quality and can be used

Pros
  • Pretty package
Cons
  • Can't remember

My car hums, doesn't rattle.

I've used Dynamat, Roadkill and Pyle soundproofing materials and this is my favorite for price/performance. It sticks very well but is easy to cut and shape. I've used this throughout my car to muffle the car and reduce mid-bass and subwoofer rasp. I put this in my doors and all over the trunk. I removed the floor mats, carpet, and seats to make sure I had the car covered all over. There are two things that make a big difference: roll and warmth. In order for the mat to stick, you need to press

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • No specs
