Review on πŸ”‡ Noico Metal Barrel Roller Tool: Effortless Installation for Automotive Sound Deadening Insulation in Cars & Truck (Audio Dampening & Deadener) by Michael Gupta

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A good replacement for the Dynamat roller.

I temporarily lost my dynamite roller so I bought it instead; I decided it was silly to spend nearly $20 on another dynamite (especially knowing I still had it). Turns out I found the dynamite the same day it arrived so I was able to use both and make a comparison. The Dynamate roller is made of high quality rubber material with a bearing inside; The rubber is soft enough to easily follow the contour you apply the sound absorbing material to. Its wooden handle is of good quality and can be used as a pusher for corners etc. This scooter is much heavier (it's metal with a plastic handle). The grip is quite comfortable and can also be used in corners etc. It doesn't conform to the underlying surface at all, which is perfectly normal when rolling over a large pole or other surface with fuzzy contours. It's a little annoying when driving on rough surfaces. However, I wouldn't say that this affects functionality. I think its weight combined with the grooved tread works better overall than a Dynamat roller. However, it's nice to have both.
