Review on DEWALT DCS356B 20V Max XR Oscillating Multi-Tool - Variable Speed (Tool Only) by Avery Sharma

This "DEWALT 20V MAX XR Oscillating Multi-Purpose Variable Speed Tool (DCS356B)" is a great tool that you will find more detail on and a lot more uses for for the way you walk. I mainly use it to make straight cuts on a smooth surface that would be much more difficult with most other saws (e.g. ) and also for sanding in tight corners (with a small triangular sanding adapter that I bought and attached to the large quick release of this tool). The more I use it, the more attracted I am to my next project. It's simple and works great. The battery lasts a long time for most jobs I can use it for (it's not a high volume grinder or cutter, but for specialized jobs it's so good it's perfect). One note: It's LOUD, with a very distinct howl. This is inevitable due to the high speed vibrations/oscillations it depends on, but you don't want to use it in the early/late hours when your neighbors are sleeping. Consider a gas whip. Not as deep a "hoarse" sound as those high-revving engines, but a similar howl in pitch and volume. If you're going to be using it for more than a moment, it's probably wise to wear hearing protection, although I don't really find the volume painful. It's on par with a high-speed random orbit sander, but a little sharper and more pronounced in the buzz. OK, enough said. Now you know. As for multi-tools, this one seems well built, efficient and ideal for those who have already invested in the DeWalt 20V Max line of tools, like me. Highly recommended!
