Review on 🌬️ Tripp Lite Gen 2 SRCOOL12K Portable Air Conditioner - 12000 BTU (3.5kW), 120V, for Server Racks and Spot Cooling, Self-Contained AC Unit, in Black by Eric Nelson

The first lasted about 6 years without additional cooling in a single rackmount server closet with a couple of switches, a couple of servers, a couple of storage units and a bunch of UPSs. We're in the Midwest so it's hardly ever used except as a Fall/Winter/Early Spring fan. Keeps the room comfortable and cool on the hottest days. I believe the first one was killed by lightning as we lost a lot of other equipment in the building that same night. All things considered, I can't find anything that comes close to cooling from a 110V outlet for $600. If I have to buy one every 6 years, $100 a year? This is a pretty fantastic offer. Deducted one star and low tech support because they don't sell parts. Old unit, I think if I could buy a new ECU I would fix it. but they don't sell parts.
