If you are looking for a coaxial cable, this is not your cable. Likewise if you are looking for cat6. Keep searching. You cannot confuse it with an extension cord. It just doesn't have those 3 pins on the end. Basically, the end is flat and has a slit in the middle. If you look at it from above, it almost looks like a D. The small metal parts there are gold or silver, depending on the light. I thought it was about 6 feet long but I didn't measure it. When I hooked it up between the Blue Ray and the TV, it seemed to work like an HDMI cable, carrying both sound and video. which was good. Because that's what I bought it for. So let's summarize. This is a working HDMI cable which is better than what you currently have or you wouldn't be reading this review. Shalom.
