I thought I had to give a review as there is so much size variation. My son just turned 2 and is smaller for his age, 25 pounds and 34 inches. In regular tight pajamas, I buy him 2T's to keep them a little loose (can't stand tight pajamas!). I ordered a 2T for him in dark gray and it suits him perfectly. It's not baggy, but it doesn't tighten the skin either. So I would say if your child is in the 50th percentile or above you will probably choose a size, but if you increase the size to a 2, it's probably ok and will fit longer. Hope this will help someone lol. We love these pajamas so much and have ordered 3 more pairs. He sleeps very hot but shirtless and only in shorts/pants he is freezing. They're incredibly soft and very breathable, so he doesn't wake up sweaty but still feels comfortable.
