The light is not "dimmable" as advertised, but they think (after consulting the seller) that the colors of the light are = dimmable . To be clear, the LEDs can go from super white to bluish white to soft white (the only reasonable option unless you're installing this in a lab and need that bright white light). If you don't fix the list, you know "dimmable" is a lie. A few weeks after installing this unit, the canopy covering the bracket/wires is still loose. There are a lot of cables to cram into the box/bracket, now look at the big remote receiver = not possible). Correspondence with the seller ended with "Yes, no, it should work". It is not. I am currently looking for a larger mount/matching canopy to trade for. The retractable wings are cool, the fan is pretty quiet, and the remote control works well. This would have been a solid purchase if it weren't for the wire/bracket issue...and a great purchase if I could complete the canopy installation and the lights were actually dimmable (as advertised).
